Your cat speaks to you in Spanish
You pick up a man at the lesbian bar
You dive into a toilet bowl to retrieve your lipstick roll
You call your mom to see if she can tell how high you are

You do, who are you?
You do, who are you?

One morning happenstance is written on your hand
Friday night on 23rd is where you stand
Screaming, “Why won’t you have sex with me?!”
You wake up with a girl who likes Kenny G

Reasons to quit
You must admit
That nothing changes if nothing changes
If no one changes it

You get into a fight with a metal gate
Outside the diner at 4:08
Happy hours make you wanna punch aces
In plate glass windows and smiling faces

You do, who are you?
You do, who are you?

Your beer goggles wear whiskey goggles
You call your dealer mom by mistake
Your friends with the drinking problem puts you in a cab
You can’t remember what Sunday looks like

You don’t , maybe you won’t
You don’t, maybe you won’t

Reasons to stop
Your life could be swapped
For the junk in the corner of the old junk shop
You have to stop.
And then there are the nights
You walk the streets and cry
There are enough women in this city
With tears in their eyes

Reasons to quit
You must admit
That nothing changes if nothing changes
If no one changes it
